Driving Test Requirements
Teens
Teens ages 16 and up can take the driving test after they have completed their Teen Drivers Ed Program, received their certificate of completion & completed their 6 months hold date on the back of their permit.
Testing requirements:
- Permit / Learner License
- DE 964 Green Certificate or PT Certificate & Class record & In Car record
- 30 hour Parent Behind the Wheel Log
- VOE (IF under 18)
- ITTD Certificate
Adults
Adults ages 18 and up can take the driving test with Elite after they have obtained their Tx Restricted Driver's License or Permit.
Testing requirements:
- Purple ADE Certificate
- Permit / Learner License
- ITYD / ITAD Certificate
Driving Test Information
We offer the driving test on Thursdays between 12 noon and 2pm. Examinees must drive Elite Vehicle during the Test.
ONE TEST PER PURCHASE PRICE. There are no retests included in the driving test price. An Examinee will know immediately following the test whether they have passed the test or not. If they have not passed the test they can collect their paperwork and purchase a test at DPS or purchase purchase another Test with Elite.

- Bring all documents to both appointments and wear tennis shoes, face masks and bring permit to Elite Office on test date.
